Owner/Manager - Pilates Teacher & Myotherapist
Kym
As a qualified clinical Pilates teacher and myotherapist Kym is now in the eleventh year of operation with the studio.
She was previously a registered nurse with experience in general rehabilitation. She also operates
'Pilates Retreats' see Pilatesretreats.com and is a mindfulness/meditation teacher.
In her free time she enjoys time with family and friends, travelling, yoga, meditation,, bushwalking, health retreats.
Bachelor of Science - Nursing; Adv. Dip. Myotherapy, Clinical Pilates Instructor APPI (Unite Health Melbourne), Meditation Teacher training with Sydney Institute of Meditation. Member of AAMT and APPI and Meditation Australia.

Sade
Sade has found from personal and work experience how exceptional Pilates can be for overall body conditioning within a controlled environment. It's that ability to exercise while continually improving posture and body alignment that had her hooked many years ago.
Previously she participated in figure skating, Yoga, Muay Thai and distance running. Currently she is also a diving coach and assists ACDC elite diving clubs strength and conditioning program as a consultant.
She brings both energy and experience to the studio and in addition, she is a native Chinese speaker and can assist with Chinese clientele.

Stephanie
Stephanie discovered Pilates after suffering a workplace injury and soon found that she was attending clinical PIlates not only to assist her recovery but also because she loved it. She found it to be non-competitive, self-focused and safe. She liked that there was no hiding where you were truly at with your body and how it highlighted your strengths and weaknesses.
As a Pilates teacher she discovered there are so many variations and tools to utilise that can be tailored to fit anyone’s needs, helping people feel better in their own body and mind.
Stephanie has always enjoyed physical activities such as dancing, running and going for long walks.

Andrew
Pilates has helped Andrew develop an understanding of the importance of correct movement technique in performance, rehabilitation from injury, and everyday life.
He enjoys supporting his clients to achieve ongoing personal bests of functional strength and flexibility in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
With qualifications and clinical experience also spanning psychology, nutrition and herbal medicine, Andrew brings a broad, integrative understanding of health to the Pilates studio.

Maja
Maja fuses ideas from mindfulness, somatic movement and myofascial release work into her Pilates repertoire to help clients develop greater awareness of their movement patterns.
Her sessions are usually a blend of modern and functional Pilates with new twists on known repertoire.
She also has a keen interest in women’s health and the wellbeing of retired athletes.
In her spare time Maja hangs out with her family and friends, often swimming, surfing, freediving and meditating.

Myotherapist
Margit
Margit takes an individual approcah with her treatments recogonising effective treatment needs to be tailored to meet the client's needs on the day.
She likes to educate her clients about the importance of listening to the needs of their body and recognising any issues before they develop.
She utilises a variety of myotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy, dry needling therapy, muscle energy technique, myofacsial release, cupping, stretching and postural advice.
Previously she was a registered nurse and lived in Austria. She loves the Australian outdoors, bushawalking, skiing, tennis and Pilates.

Osteopath
Evan
Evan completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and graduated with a Masters of Osteopathy from RMIT University. His further studies in exercise rehab, obstetrics and paediatrics allowed him to further expand his knowledge and experience with complex complaints.
Evan believes communication is key to patient understanding and recovery, using his friendly nature to effectively connect with each and every patient.
After suffering a serious knee injury in 2011, he was able to successfully return to indoor soccer and cricket following rehabilitation. Evan’s passion for helping patients keeps him motivated. He also likes chocolate, a good coffee and taking his dogs for a run.
